French interested in bauxite and tourism ( 2008-08-27)
| French Ambassador to Montenegro Bernard Garanche said that investors from France are interested in import of Montenegrin bauxite and construction of a hotel in Montenegrin coast. Garanche said that Montenegro has great bauxite reserves in which several French companies are interested. He said that only one French company currently operates in Montenegro, Societe Generale bank, and that France is a modest foreign trade partner to Montenegro. According to Garanche, during the recent visit of Montenegrin Minister for Economic Development Branimir Gvozdenovic to France, the representatives of the two countries concluded that there are conditions for stronger cooperation.
