Number of tourists in Montenegro on world level ( 2008-03-04)
| In the international travel results by UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) for last year and prognosis for the next one, Montenegro was presented as a country with fantastic results. Secretary of UNWTO Francesco Frangialli said that the increase in the number of tourists in Montenegro last year equalled the world average, and that the country can be compared with countries of the Mediterranean – Turkey, Malta, Greece. The number of foreign guests all over the world who left their countries and stayed abroad for at least one night came close to 900m in 2007. (Republika) |
