Complicated processes for business ( 2008-09-12)
| The Employers’ Union of Montenegro believes that the process of paying taxes, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, should be facilitated, in order to make the collection more efficient. Commenting on the new report of the World Bank, economic adviser of the Union Ana Karanikic said that taxes are important for functioning of the economy. She said that they can have a negative influence, especially on small and medium-sized companies. Montenegro is in the 90th position among around 200 countries in the research on the easiness of business, which was carried out by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
