Montenegro in 90th position ( 2008-09-11)
| In the newest report and list on the ease of business, which was made by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for 181 countries, Montenegro took the 90th position, which is 6 positions lower than on last year’s list. Slovenia and Macedonia are in 54th and 71st position respectively, while Serbia is in 94th, Croatia in 106th and B-H in 119th. The ranking is based on ten indicators in the area of business regulations which follow the time and expenses of fulfilment of administrative requests during the opening of a business, trade, taxation or shutting down a company. 15 steps are necessary to start a business in Montenegro.
