Slovenia will invest in tourism in the north of Montenegro ( 2008-09-03)
| During a meeting in Cetinje, Presidents of Montenegro and Slovenia, Filip Vujanovic and Danilo Türk respectively, agreed that the economic relations of the two countries can be improved in the future. Türk explained that the Slovenian companies are interested in investing in the development of the north of Montenegro, mostly in tourist projects. Referring to the recent past, the Slovenian President pointed out that Montenegro contributed to the peace and stability in the south-eastern part of Europe, that it realised a great economic progress since the declaration of independence and created a basis for further economic cooperation.
