Montenegro at last years level ( 2008-09-24)
| On Tuesday, September 24, in Berlin, Transparency International said that Montenegro has slightly progressed in the index of perception of corruption, but is still one of the most corrupted in the region. Last year, Montenegro took 85th position with an index of 3.3, and this year it is in the 84th position with an index of 3.4. Montenegro shares its position with Serbia, which stayed at the same position as last year, and Albania, which slightly progressed. Out of the countries of the region, the perception of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the worst – it is in the 92nd position.
