Apartment just a dream ( 2008-09-25)
| The Montenegrin Central Bank has prepared the Study of Real Estate Prices in Montenegro which concludes that apartments are rather overvalued, but forecasts that the prices will most probably drop. By comparing the average price of one square meter in Podgorica and in capitals of the countries of the region, it has been concluded that prices are higher in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, that they are lower in Macedonia and Albania, but that they are approximately at the same level as in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Average prices of a square meter of a housing object in Podgorica in May 2008 amounted to EUR 1,738.3, which presents a rise of 2.4 percent, compared to the price of one square meter three quarters ago, when it amounted to EUR 1,697.56.
