Europe complaining about Russian investors ( 2008-09-29)
| The European Union, concerned about the level of Russian investments in Montenegro, requested its experts to make a credible study on the real amount of those investments as the end of last year. The study named “The Russian economic penetration in Montenegro”, for the needs of the European Parliament, was made by famous European economic experts for the Balkans, professors Mojmir Mrak, Matija Rojec, Tomaz Semler and Tomaz Novak. They notice that the official Russian investments in Montenegro are considerably higher than in other former Yugoslavian countries and that they are probably higher than shown in the official data, but not as high as the public believes.
