Countries of Benelux abolished visas for Montenegrin diplomats ( 2008-10-01)
| The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro that all internal legal procedures for the agreement between the governments of the countries of Benelux and the Montenegrin Government regarding the abolishment of visas for persons with diplomatic and official passports were fulfilled in the contracted countries and the agreement should be applied on October 1, 2008. This agreement was signed on December 21, 2006 and states that citizens of Montenegro and citizens of the countries of Benelux can enter the area of the contracted countries and stay for up to three months.
