| The Montenegrin real estate market is currently going though a crisis which could not have been predicted by the biggest pessimists – prices of apartments are falling, there are no buyers, investors are in trouble because the banks want them to repay credits they obtained for construction. After the expansion of the real estate market during 2006 and 2007, a collapse followed. The global financial crisis is one of the reasons for the collapse, but not the only reason.
