More will for confronting corruption needed ( 2008-10-31)
| Montenegro made a progress in the area of economy and regional cooperation, improvements are visible almost in all fields, but the state in the judiciary, administrative capacities, money laundering and relation to the living environment is still concerning, while the fight against corruption and organised crime is insufficiently efficient. This is the European Commission’s assessment of the situation in Montenegro in the draft report on progress, which should officially be published on November 5.
