Queen lost EUR 500,000 because of the beach in Becici ( 2008-06-18)
| The storm because of the devastation of the beach in Becici is not abating. Co-owner of The Queen of Montenegro Dragan Ivancevic is convinced that the beach was destroyed because of the inadequate and non-expert treatment of teams in charge of the construction of a regional waterworks and that the damage to hoteliers and other tourist workers in this area is long-term. He claims that his company lost EUR 500,000. During April and May, the northern section of waterworks was built at this beach. After they finished, the workers left the beach destroyed. It was repaired because of the efforts of the citizens, but consequences are still visible. (Republika) |
