Less guests because of poorly organized season ( 2008-06-24)
| "A poorly organized season, works at the coast and a general atmosphere that isn’t quite touristic have lead to a significantly lower number of guests visiting Montenegro these days", said the director of the Queen of Montenegro hotel, Dragan Ivancevic. He said that he did not know whether official data about a 5 percent increase in tourists were true, but that his hotel had significantly less guests than last year. He continued that the Queen of Montenegro had a low occupancy rate and that guests were cancelling reservations. "We have issues with partners who have lost confidence in us because of a poorly organized season", explained Ivancevic. Currently the hotel has an occupancy rate of 75 percent, while it amounted to 90 percent last year. (Pobjeda) |
