| President of the Socialist People’s Party Srdjan Milic and a representative of that party - Aleksandar Damjanovic - have submitted to the Montenegrin Assembly five amendments to the bill on property rights, out of which three relate to technical details and two define the rights of foreigner owners. "We insist that, along with six limitations, which relate to the sale of real estate to foreigners, the seventh is introduced and that the purchase of real estate on islands and border areas is limited. Frontier regions should also be defined", Aleksandar Damjanovic said. The Government has proposed that foreigners be prevented from owning natural resources, land in general use, farmland, forests or forestry land and a cultural monuments. (Vijesti) |
