Decrease in investments ( 2008-07-01)
| According to the preliminary data of the Central Bank (CBCG), foreign direct investments in the first four months in Montenegro amounted to EUR 308.5m, which is 2.7 percent less than in the same period last year. The value of foreign direct investments, i.e. the difference between their inflow and outflow, fell for the first time this year. The difference amounted to EUR 187.7m in the first four months, which is 0.2 percent less than in the same period last year. In the structure of inflow, the share of investments in real estates has been reduced, while investments on the basis of inter-company debt have been increased, as well as in domestic banks and companies.
