EUR 388.8 million invested ( 2008-07-11)
| Foreign direct investments in Montenegro in the first five months of the year amounted to EUR 388.8 million, or 4.5 percent less compared with the same period last year, reports the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG). The central bank has registered decrease in FDI for the second month in a row. The value of net FDI, i.e. the margin between inflow and outflow, increased the share of real estate investments. 40 percent of foreign investments arrived to Montenegrin companies and banks. EUR 142.8 million or 37 percent was invested in real estate, while withdrawn capital invested abroad amounted to EUR 2.2 million. (Republika) |
