34,000 foreigners already work in Montenegro ( 2008-07-15)
| Montenegro is the only former Yugoslavian country which imports workforce and this will remain so for years. The reasons for that are different, as well as the interpretations, but the fact is that more than 34,000 foreigners currently work in Montenegro. The trend of presence of foreigners working in Montenegro is continuing. Despite the more severe conditions in the recently adopted law on employing foreigners, the application of which will start next year, the informed already believe that as many as 50,000 foreign workers will start working in Montenegrin market in 2009.
