Foreigners will be able to book land on companies ( 2008-07-24)
| The Government of Montenegro will annul the decision of the president of the real estate administration, Mico Orlandic, according to which the cadastres cannot book land on companies that are registered in Montenegro, but in the ownership of foreigners. The Government will most probably adopt the amendments of the law prepared by Minister of Finance Igor Luksic, and according to which companies registered in Montenegro and founded by foreigners will be treated as domestic. Orlandic recently ordered cadastres to request verifications that the companies would buy land. However, the Ministry does not want to issue such verifications to companies registered in Montenegro.
