3% less tourists than in 2007 ( 2008-08-03)

PODGORICA – Montenegro is currently visited by 105,650 tourists, or 3% less than in the same period last year, report today from the National Tourist Organization (NTOCG).

According to NTO, call center registered 148 calls last week, 119 complaints and five praises, while 24 callers sought information. NTO Manager, Danica Ćeranić, said that most complaints referred to loud music and road works.

Director of the Tourist Organization Podgorica (TOP), Ljiljana Šćepanović, reported how Montenegrin capital was visited by 16% more tourists in first four months this year.

“Uptrend in the number of tourists was also registered in May, June and July”, stated Šćepanović.
