Hu Jintao announced Chinese investments in Montenegro ( 2008-08-08)
| On Thursday Montenegro’s President Filip Vujanovic met with China’s President Hu Jintao in Peking. During the long and conversation China’s president expressed his respect for Montenegro’s quick development after gaining its independence and said that Montenegro was a good example in the region and that it would continue to be so. He is convinced that Chinese businessmen and companies will participate in infrastructure projects, especially in traffic and energy, and that Montenegro will take advantage of the potential for cooperation in tourism. Montenegro’s president pointed out his conviction that the Commission for Economic and Trade Cooperation, which has already been established, would take full advantage of the room for partnerships in all branches, especially in commerce. Good political relations are a good foundation for the continuous development of economic relations, which the diplomatic services of both countries have to be dedicated to. (Pobjeda) |
