No prices for mass tourism ( 2008-08-14)
| Director of the tourist centre of Kosovo Skelzen Rizaj said that Montenegro is no longer a cheap tourist destination and there are no conditions for mass tourism in it at the moment. He said that this is the main, but not the only reason for lower attendance rate regarding last year. Besides high prices, the introduction of eco taxes and limitations in the entry of food in the country affected the decision of potential tourists to skip Montenegro. He said that when a potential guest, for example, from Serbia or Kosovo, has all that in mind and listens to tempting offers from Greece and Albania, it is clear why the Montenegrin coast was empty.
