Negotiations on Montenegrin accession to WTO in final stage ( 2008-10-24)
| Montenegro is currently in the final stage of accessing the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and should probably finish the negotiations with that organisation by the end of the year. WTO is one of the three most important world multilateral systems, along with the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. All rules of WTO are directed towards stimulating further development of trade. Every country that wants to be a member has to apply and all other members (153 of them) have to approve the membership. (Pobjeda) |
