Montenegro behind Croatia ( 2008-10-29)
| The report of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the implementation of Lisbon goals during the past two years states that Montenegro is the second in the list of competitiveness of countries that are not members of the European Union (EU) with 3.96 points. Montenegro follows Croatia, which has 4.1 points. The report on the progress of the EU member countries in implementing the goals of the Lisbon strategy showed that Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey, as potential members, have considerably better results in various areas than Poland and Bulgaria, which are members of the Union.
